User Data Policy
What we collect when you contact us, why we collect it and how to have it removed.
Last updated ยท 27 August 2026
1. Scope
This policy explains what information Devagile collects through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. It covers casual browsing and the project onboarding form.
2. What we collect
When you submit the onboarding form, we collect what you type into it:
- Your name and company name.
- Your email address.
- Project details: project type, budget range, timeline, current website, goals and any references you share.
- Technical data attached to the submission: your IP address and the time of submission, used for spam and abuse protection.
3. What we do not collect
We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking on this website, we do not sell or rent your information, and we do not ask for payment details through this site.
4. Why we use it
We use the information you send only to:
- Read and reply to your enquiry, and scope potential work.
- Keep a record of the enquiry so we can follow up on a conversation you started.
- Protect the form from spam and abuse, including rate limiting by IP address and a bot check on submission.
5. Bot protection
The onboarding form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell real submissions apart from automated ones. Google receives technical signals about the submission for that purpose, subject to Google's own privacy terms. We also limit the number of submissions accepted from one IP address per hour.
6. Where it is stored and who can see it
Submissions are stored in the site's backend database and are readable only by Devagile. Enquiries may also be forwarded by email to the Devagile team so we can reply. We use third-party providers for hosting, database and media delivery; they process data on our behalf and only to run the service.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Enquiries that clearly go nowhere, and obvious spam, are deleted.
8. Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what you sent, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to mail@devagile.work from the address you submitted and we will action the request. Deleting your enquiry means we can no longer continue that conversation.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and enquiry records are restricted to Devagile. No online service can be guaranteed fully secure, so please do not send passwords, financial details or other sensitive information through the enquiry form.
10. Changes and contact
If our data practices change, we will update this page and the date above. For any question about your data, contact mail@devagile.work.
